Abby and Chris’s Romantic Winter Wedding | Wildhorse Inn Wedding | Winter Park Wedding Flowers   no comments

Everything about this Winter Park Colorado wedding was sweet, soft and in my personal opinion, pretty darn perfect.  I built the design around a soft and romantic winter color palette of ivory, cream and silver.  Floral pomanders made from hydrangeas and spray roses hung from silver chivari chairs.  Abby’s bouquet was a hand gathered mix of hydrangea, white lilac, anemones and roses.  Chris and her team at the Wildhorse Inn created a delicious feast and hosted another perfect winter wedding.  Enough of my talking, I’ll let these gorgeous pictures from Allee Photography speak for themselves.

Abby and Chris, thank you for letting me create this beautiful day for the two of you.  I hope you spend the rest of your lives looking at each other the way you two did on February 12.   I cant wait to hear what happens next.

Desiree and Brett got married at Devils Thumb Ranch   no comments

Desiree and Brett’s wedding was a snowy winter wonderland kind of Colorado Ranch wedding (it was only November but the snow was flying!).  I loved creating this floral design built around medium and dark pink roses, privet berries, dahlias, kale and Bells of Ireland.  Desiree created so many personal details (custom napkins, individual jars of jam, birdcages and custom wooden signs) that the entire day felt intimate and warm (despite the freezing temps!)  Devils Thumb Ranch served as the perfect venue,  Brinton Studios outdid themselves (AGAIN) capturing the day (click here to see the rest of this beautiful day) and Teacup Bakery created the delicious wedding cake.

Laura and Fred Wildhorse Inn Wedding   no comments

We adored creating this Colorado Garden Wedding for Laura and Fred on a perfect July day at the Wildhorse Inn in Tabernash, Colorado.  Pink garden roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas and veronica were accented with deep pink amaranthus for a perfect combination.  Instead of traditional archway, we hung a 6′ wide grapevine wreath wired with flowers and we draped the sides of the support poles with curtains (LOVE this!).  Vintage ski sign reproductions served as table names as we mixed and matched mason jars and cans filled with flowers.  Hay bales accented the sides of the tent (AND were rather handy for extra seating)

Paige Elizabeth (photographer extra-ordinaire!) captured the day with absolute perfection.  Click here to link over to her blog to see the rest of this story . . .

Ivete and Chris – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding   no comments

There were so many reasons I loved this Devils Thumb Ranch wedding.  The bride is a fantastic person – gorgeous inside and out (evidenced by the scores of 4 year olds who spent the wedding day lined up to hug her), the groom is a fantastic person (with the coolest 4th grader for a son that I have ever met), their friends and families were FUN and all pitched in to help and their photographer (Steve Z) is pretty darn amazing.  Enjoy these gorgeous pictures (and YES, that is Frank Sinatra . . .okay really it’s Derek Evilsizor but  . . .I think he really may be Frank Sinatra!!!!)

If the first date you had with the love of your life was a mountain bike ride, why not go for a tandem mountain bike ride on your wedding day?  Again, major kudos to any bride who will participate in a “sport the dress” ( great term from Steve Z) photo shoot ON HER WEDDING DAY (yep, bike ride them back to the reception.  Can I say again – I really get to work with great people!!

Yes, if you hire Frank (I mean Derek . . . no, I mean FRANK) to play your wedding – he may end up leading all of your guests in a kickline to New York, New York outside of tent in Tabernash, Colorado. . . .before it is even dark outside.  It just got better from there.  So. Much.  FUN.

If you have married the love of your life, celebrated with your friends and family, ridden a tandem mountain bike (again, in the dress!) and led a kickline, I think you should dance with the one you love . . .

Ivete and Chris, thank you for trusting us with the details of your day. You two have raised the bar for sassy fun weddings.  I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness and an uncrowded mountain bike trails.

Kelly and Kevin – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding   3 comments

I loved this wedding.  I loved the bride and groom.  I loved the color palatte.  I loved the details.  I loved the team of vendors that I was fortunate enough to get to work with.  I simply loved this day . . .Enjoy these gorgeous pictures from CR and Tiffany Brinton of Brinton Studios.  Thanks again to Devils Thumb Ranch, Paige and Krista of Peekay Designs, 40 Gallon Still ( a great Colorado Bluegrass Band!) and Paula Thomas of Teacup Bakery for those yummy pies.  Here are a few of my favorites . . .to see the rest of the story, hop on over to Brinton Studios gorgeous blog!

Major props to any bride and groom who can ignore the cold.  And I mean cold (it started snowing later that day – yes, on June 12)  Ketubah signing outside in a stunning meadow - why not??

Wow, I absolutely adore this picture . . .and I am considering changing all of our current marketing to incorporate it.  After all, Colorado Ranch weddings are kinda turning into our thing . . .  For the flowers, we worked off a soft peach, cream and pink color palette (seriously, colors completely inspired by the spring cardigan collection from J Crew this year . . .) with big fluffy feather-y (is that a word?) flowers including peonies, roses, snapdragons, lisianthus and garden roses.

Instead of a traditional seating chart, guests names were written on antique windows.  Floor length muslin curtains adorned either side of the barn doors in the Broad Axe Barn.  Did I mention the 300+ candles and the twinkle lights hanging from the beams made the room absolutely glow??

Kelly and Kevin, thank you for being fun and doing something HUGE.  I cant wait to hear all about Italy!  There were so many gorgeous pictures from June 12, I have a feeling there will be more details to come!
