Sneak Peak of Dave and Rachel’s Devils Thumb Ranch wedding no comments
My pictures will never do this wedding (or fabulous couple) justice. Fun – fun – fun. What more can I say? When the groomsmen all wear one piece old school 1980′s ski suits, the bridesmaids are all rocking goggles, outdoor ceremony in Colorado in January . . . I knew that I had found a great couple. This fabulous bride and groom designed entire wedding around snowflake tattoos – we definitely had a fun fabulous and one of a kind wedding – so in antipication of the real deal photos – here is a sneak peak of the all white floral, succulent and birch wrap centerpieces . . .
Amy and Ryan – Winter “I DO” at Devils Thumb Ranch no comments
Red, Orange and White – dahlias, peonies, roses and ginger. Vintage Ski posters and lanterns. Devils Thumb Ranch the week before Christmas. From a design point of view, I was pretty happy. Then came the radio flyer red wagon and I realized that this was going to be one of my favorite weddings in quite a while.
A huge thank you to Sarah Hays for sharing these lovely photos, the entire team at Devils Thumb Ranch, Maura from the Paper Guppy for all of the print work (I am obsessed with the vintage ski sign table numbers) Paula from Teacup Bakery, Ian from Elite DJ and most of all, to the fantastic Amy and Ryan for trusting me to create a fantastic design and coordinate a lovely day. I wish you both of a lifetime of love and happy . . .now can we all go skiing?

Desiree and Brett got married at Devils Thumb Ranch no comments
Desiree and Brett’s wedding was a snowy winter wonderland kind of Colorado Ranch wedding (it was only November but the snow was flying!). I loved creating this floral design built around medium and dark pink roses, privet berries, dahlias, kale and Bells of Ireland. Desiree created so many personal details (custom napkins, individual jars of jam, birdcages and custom wooden signs) that the entire day felt intimate and warm (despite the freezing temps!) Devils Thumb Ranch served as the perfect venue, Brinton Studios outdid themselves (AGAIN) capturing the day (click here to see the rest of this beautiful day) and Teacup Bakery created the delicious wedding cake.

Brinton Studios and Pick Me! Floral and Events no comments
Every once in a while in your professional life you come across someone who is meant to be a friend for life – I mean real life. In the case of Brinton Studios, we got 2 out of the deal. The flying bouquet (i.e. bridal bouquets being CHUCKED in the air as high as possible) has become somewhat of a signature picture in the last few years for Pick Me and Brinton Studios. It all started with this . . .
The very first time we worked together on Mark and Annie’s wedding, I told CR and Tiffany that I was looking for a new logo – something fun and sassy and different. I kid you not, moments later, CR walked in and showed me this shot on his digital camera. Needless to say – thank you Brinton Studios! The color, the sky, the light, the clouds looking like a sweet smoke trail, I couldn’t have planned this if I tried. Since that fateful day in May two years ago, these magnificent photographers have been encouraging our mututal clients to throw the bouquets and have FUN on their big days. Needless to say, I never actually see this happening at the time. But the end result is some of my favorite wedding pictures . . .
Brinton Studios and Pick Me Floral and Events simply make weddings fun!
Brynn and Braeden – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding no comments
Brynn and Braeden’s September wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch was gray and yellow – fall wedding perfection. This gorgeous couple is friends with one of our favorite couples (Mark and Briley) from a few years ago. Fast forward a few years and we were honored to get the call. Rami had such a wonderful time creating the decor and serving as the coordinator for this perfect day. Enjoy some of the lovely photos from our friend Paige Elizabeth.
Brynn and Braeden – we hope you are having a blast in Thailand right now. We cant wait to ski with you this winter . . .
Maria and Andrew – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding no comments
I know that you arent suposed to have favorites – but I do and Maria and Andrew definitely qualify. Fun, kind and a great design concept – I was thrilled to work with Maria and Andrew to create one of my favorite Devils Thumb Ranch weddings ever. Enjoy these lovely pictures from Jeffery Garland.
Orange tulips, oncidium orchids, privet berries and pale blue delphiunium – this wedding looked different from the rest of the summer and I adored it! All of the print work had a scrolling yellow blooming branch (which we create with the oncidium orchids) and anyone who can rock a birdcage veil this well is a hero in my eyes. The tables were covered with a gorgeous champagne colored silk duiponi (thank you Event Rents) and the guests danced all night to Double Parked (fantastic)!
And now – the coolest wedding picture EVER!
Maria and Andrew – thank you for trusting me with the flowers and coordination for your wedding day. You two are honestly two of the best and I cant wait to see what you to do next.

Okay, I am still in love with this wedding from last August and today as I was looking at Jenna Walker Photography’s blog, I saw this!
Direct from Jenna Walker’s blog “Congratulations to Julie and Andre! Their wedding has been featured in print at Signature Weddings. This stunning magazine is based in Malaysia and Singapore and read across Asia and Australia as well.” Thank you again for letting Pick Me help with the design and coordination of this day. Who knew punching balloons could be such a great part of a wedding?

Tanja and Chris – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding 1 comment
Small wedding – ok. Middle of the week – sure. One of the … most . . . fun couples on the planet – without a doubt. Chris and Tanja’s August wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch was a hoot. And kudos to any bride and groom who can plan a wedding and move across the country – in the same week. Enjoy these beautiful images from our friend Karina Heneghan!
Rami got to have so much fun with the design of this Kings Table. Potted plants and succulents were mixed with fresh floral arrangements made from blue hydrangeas, purple lisianthus, cosmos, aster and bells of Ireland. For height we added some manzanita branches and for a lush feeling at the bottom, we ran green garland mixed with candles. Each table setting was accented with a sprig of lavender and rosemary.
Now – I am not saying that our weddings are more fun than other peoples – but we do seem to attract those who dance . . .and those who do fan kicks. The Fever played all night and this crowd never stopped dancing!
Thank you again to Tanja and Chris for remembering that this is FUN! Check out Karina’s Facebook page for the rest of these pictures (and lots more dancing and photobooth silliness!)

Holly and Brian – Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding 1 comment
I had so much fun working with Holly and Brian on their August wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch. For flowers – Holly wanted something fun, colorful and unusual. I was able to create a handgathered bouquet from mokara orchids, spider mums, dahlias and lisianthus.
Tiffany and CR of Brinton Studios have once again blown me away with these pictures. Of course, finding a HUGE field of daisies doesnt hurt.
We created an aisle of flowers in mason jars and hung them off the shepherd hoooks. The arrangements were reused as cocktail hour centerpieces. For reception table – we used the same flowers in the bouquet and anchored them in river rock. And instead of cake – Happy Cakes!!
Chinese lanterns and lightbulbs – what more do you need?
I loved every moment of this wedding and I adored getting to know this incredible family. I wish you guys a lifetime of love and happiness and fields of daisies!
