Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding | Stephanie and Mike got married! no comments
I loved creating the flowers for Stephanie and Mike’s Devils Thumb Ranch wedding a few weeks ago. White, yellow, blue and purple wildflower inspired flowers – another Colorado wildflower wedding that made me love being a part of Stephanie and Mike’s big day. And now! To celebrate the return home from their honeymoon, here are a few of Jenni Maroney’s (both co-founder AND fellow White List member!) gorgeous pictures of the day!
I sincerely hope that every bride feels like Stephanie on her wedding day. Absolutely wonderful!
All the love in the world to Stephanie and Mike (and to their pretty amazing friends who did NOT go to see Widespread Panic that Saturday night at Red Rocks – those are some pretty great friends

Casey and Nate’s Devils Thumb Ranch Winter Wedding no comments
There are so many things that I love about weddings – the dresses, the decor, the tiniest details – the obvious things. But more than that, what makes a wedding incredible to me, is when there are 2 people so in love that they dont even see anyone else in the room. Casey and Nate are those two people. Kind and loving and so sweet – the way that Nate looks at Casey and the way that makes Casey grin – that, my friends, is why I love what I do. Enjoy these beautiful photos from Brinton Studios of this lovely March Devils Thumb Ranch wedding.

Okay, okay . . .I’ll admit it – we blog stalk. Rami and I spend at least a few hours a week checking out some of our favorite Colorado wedding vendors (photographers, florists, other planners, etc) blogs to see what people are doing. Getting inspired. Checking on new trends and publications. Just seeing what’s going on outside of Winter Park
. You can imagine how thrilled we were to see one of our absolute FAVORITE brides from last season on the new Luxe Mountain Weddings blog (and the lovely pictures from Jenna Walker Photography are going to be featured in the premier issue of Luxe Mountain Weddings Magazine!) This lovely orange October Devils Thumb Ranch wedding is sure to set the bar quite high for this new Colorado wedding publication. The lanterns, the linens, the simply stunning all orange floral design. We loved creating this wedding!!
Devil’s Thumb Ranch Winter Wedding | Lyndsey + Jason say I DO! no comments
Happy April – to celebrate the fact that is snowed 10″ this morning here in Winter Park (seriously) I want to share the first of two Winter Park Colorado weddings that I did with Brinton Studios the last week of March. Once upon a time on an oh-so cold and snowy day . . .
I loved this wedding – I love this couple and I loved that fact that they had so much FUN on their wedding day. It was a treat to create a gorgeous wedding for a fantastic Winter Park couple (recognize them??), taking pictures at Tabernash Tavern (after all, it was the site of their first date – worked out pretty well . . .) dancing with Sundog (their band) and just having a pretty good day. I adore this bright and happy color palette that I was able to create using hearts roses, James Storeii Orchids, mokara orchids and ranunculus that was to die for. The bright pink and red mixed with mercury glass candles and lanterns – I thought that the Broad Axe Barn at Devils Thumb Ranch absolutely glowed. And to think that this was what it looked like outside . . .

This wedding was one of the coolest weddings we have ever done. Literally, it was -45 degrees here in Tabernash that first week of February this year (that was not a typo – it was NEGATIVE 45. Anywho . . .). Looking at these two, you would never know it was freezing (or 70 degrees below freezing). This stunning couple (inside and out) played in the snow, ran around in the stables and we got to bring in 12′ tall trees wired with 1000′s of feet of twinkle lights (which are now planted on the family ranch in Oklahoma). And let me tell you, the Broad Axe Barn at Devils Thumb Ranch ab-so-lute-ly glowed. Enjoy these simply beautiful pictures from our new photography crush, Aaron Snow. If you would like to see more from this stunning day, check out the feature on weddingchicks! I have a whole new appreciation for burlap mixed with ruffles, feathers and a million twinkle lights . . .
And now, kuddos to the most . fun . bridesmaids . dress. Ever.
A great big old thank you to one of our favorite couples and the entire crew who made this day happen . . .

This Devils Thumb Ranch wedding was bright and whimsical and FUN!!! I loved the combination of dramatic red flowers against a backdrop of subtle black and white damask (we were able to incorporate it into the napkins, the ribbon and best of all – THE CAKE!) Yes, Paula from Teacup absolutely blew me away (again!) with this gorgeous 2 tiered damask cake. Enjoy!
Abby and Chris’s Romantic Winter Wedding | Wildhorse Inn Wedding | Winter Park Wedding Flowers no comments
Everything about this Winter Park Colorado wedding was sweet, soft and in my personal opinion, pretty darn perfect. I built the design around a soft and romantic winter color palette of ivory, cream and silver. Floral pomanders made from hydrangeas and spray roses hung from silver chivari chairs. Abby’s bouquet was a hand gathered mix of hydrangea, white lilac, anemones and roses. Chris and her team at the Wildhorse Inn created a delicious feast and hosted another perfect winter wedding. Enough of my talking, I’ll let these gorgeous pictures from Allee Photography speak for themselves.
Abby and Chris, thank you for letting me create this beautiful day for the two of you. I hope you spend the rest of your lives looking at each other the way you two did on February 12. I cant wait to hear what happens next.

Winter Wedding Devils Thumb Ranch | Eric and Kathy 1 comment
Stunning, elegant and red red red! We adored working on Kathy and Eric’s winter wedding at Devils Thumb. Brinton Studios took these gorgeous photographs and Devils Thumb Ranch absolutely rocked another phenomenal wedding!
A few of the personal details for you -
Our bride Kathy is the Kathy Lee from The Lewis and Floorwax show on the Fox Radio in Denver, Chancy Williams and Younger Brothers Band absolutely rocked the Ranch (and we may be their new superfans!), the lovely Bride and Groom had Lights (Journey cover band) play the rehearsal dinner (how fun is that?) and in the ceremony – possibly my new favorite tradition - Kathy and Eric each wrote a love letter to one another the week before the wedding and had a friend read it during the ceremony. Silver fortune cookies served as escort cards and homemade dumplings were given out at the end of the evening as gifts.
Kathy and Eric, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.

We are just tickled pink to have one of our bouquets featured in Brides Colorado Spring / Summer 2011 Issue. We are also honored to be included among this club of floral designers who are – in my personal opinion – rather fantastic designers and pretty nice people
. So as I flipped through the magazine, I was also happy to see an article about photography at Devils Thumb Ranch. My favorite part – 3 of the 4 weddings featured below were designed and coordinated by Pick Me! Guess which three!!!
